Your old clothes are worth!Your old clothes are not junk! Thanks to the clothing collecting and recycling program that operates the nonprofit organisation Anakyklos Perivallontiki throughout Cyprus, your old clothes acquired value and social contribution are indispensable in today's crisis:Screened and offered free on hundreds of people who need them, the shops of solidarity of recycled or delivered at home, in collaboration with the Office of Welfare and charitable organizations.Collected from dozens Social Grocery, schools, institutions of disabled persons with disabilities and other social service organizations and offered thousands of Euros to buy food from the needy, cover breakfast for needy students and / or to enhance the social work agencies.Flying our old clothes harming the environment . Offering the recycled materials, you reduce landfill, you give to the clothes a second chance to be reused by those who need or be recycled and converted into useful cleaning clothes, new clothes fibers, pulp for insulating materials etc.What you can do
 Do you have clothes that you don't need them anymore? Do not throw them away! Collect them on bags and place them to the nearest purple painted warehouse (bin) that you will find in a public place. Or if you prefer, donate them to a charity or other organization of your choice that collects in cooperation with Anakyklos.We accept:

 Clothing , paired shoes, men, women and children, white goods, like curtains and bed sheets, bags, beltsUnfortunately , we do not accept:
 Soiled or wet clothing, carpets, fabric scraps, unpaired shoes

What does Anakyklos gaining from this?There is no private gain from the collection and recycling of clothing or any other activity of Anakyklos, which is why they called it non -profit organization . Nor these can any sponsorships to burden the state budget. Net revenue from the shops of solidarity and the export of clothing reuse / recycling , after covering the Agency's revenue , the recycled share them with the community by :

1. Contributions to institutions, schools, social groceries and free clothes offered to hundreds of needy families.
2. Environmental programs, including:

• inform and sensitize the public, especially children in schools, environmental and pollution reduction 
• create organic vegetable gardens in schools and institutions,
• programs healthy employment for the unemployed, such as participation in community vegetable gardens, participation in picking fruit and nuts etc.
• maintenance and spread of local varieties and seeds,
• Anakyklos opens green jobs, especially for unemployed Cypriots,
• It also manufactures the metal bins of Cyprus, boosting the island's economy and employment, and thus avoided and the export of currency abroad,
• Ultimately , the recycling to export clothing, which generate hundreds of thousands of euro inflows from foreign exchange.
